Who is This Jake Anyway?

Aside from our jaunty name, we are known for our innovative, integrated approach to digital marketing. We are a group of strategists, artists and engineers working together to deliver creative solutions that build business.

Visit Our Studio

Our studio was previously located in the heart of Georgetown, just off the historic C&O Canal. Since being acquired by WHITE64, we have relocated to Tysons Corner, VA. Like our design aesthetic, we prefer modern interiors — clean, bright and functional. Large whiteboards for brainstorming, a dedicated conference area for client meetings and a state-of-the-art video production studio ensure that our team has enough creative space to come up with inspired ideas.

Nathan brings over 20 years of print and web design experience to the team. His eye for detail combined with a wealth of front-end development experience ensures that the stunning designs he creates can be executed quickly and efficiently. Prior to joining the Jake Group, he worked for a series of design studios in support of a wide variety of clients, especially non-profits and associations. He holds a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a Master of Natural Resources degree from Virginia Tech.

In my own words...
Favorite pastimes

Fishing from my kayak. I love to get out on the water, especially really early in the morning just as the sun comes up. There is no better way to unplug from the world. I'm also an avid cyclist. I'm working on some way to combine the two. More research required. I also enjoy long hikes with my dog, especially in the fall.

My other life

I'm a passionate environmentalist and global sustainability advocate. I volunteer as often as I can to clean up our local waterways and to remove invasive plant species from our parks and common areas.

Hidden Talent

I can ride a bike backwards while sitting on the handlebars. Fun, but terrible for commuting.

Guilty Pleasure

Flamin' hot Cheetos. Gimme that sweet sweet heat!
