The Jake Group, a boutique digital agency in Washington, DC, is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing team. This position works with our marketing team to help our clients identify, implement and manage effective online marketing strategies. You should have a strong grasp of current marketing tools and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution.   • Work directly with clients to understand their marketing needs and goals, and identify conversion points and key-performance indicators
  • Plan and execute digital marketing projects, including SEO/SEM, marketing email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Design, build and help clients maintain social media presences
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on those insights
  • Collaborate with internal design and development teams to create campaign resources such as campaign graphics, landing pages and website integrations
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end user experience across channels
  • Contribute to our overall digital marketing service offerings through evaluation of emerging technologies, market trends and client needs


  • BS/MS degree in marketing, data analytics or a related field
  • Expertise in working with clients to identify target audiences, key-performance indicators and digital campaign strategies that serve client business goals
  • Experience leading digital marketing projects including SEO/SEM, marketing email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Strong knowledge of website analytics principles and tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Experience in setting up, managing and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Experience creating and managing social media marketing campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Habit of keeping up on trends and best practices in online marketing and analytics
  • Experience working directly with clients and a positive, service-oriented manner
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Comfortable working as part of a small, busy creative team and willingness to pitch in when and where needed
  • Ability to adhere to production schedules and work under tight deadlines


Pay and benefits commensurate with experience. Work is entirely remote for the time being, though may return to a hybrid model in the future with our main office in Georgetown.
